Wes Bentley attached to short film ‘After School Special’

The actor who captivated Hunger Games actors with his talent (and beard), Wes Bentley, is now attached to appear in a short film titled After School Special, written by Neil LaBute and co-starring Sarah Paulson. the film will be part of a series of short films titled Shorts, that includes performances from Colin Firth, Judi Dench and Kenneth Branagh.

Wes’ short will revolve around a man and a woman who have an awkward encounter at an indoor playground. The short will open in theaters September 28 and will be available in iTunes on October 9.

Wes Bentley will also be seen in the Terrence Malick film Knight of Cups, alongside Christian Bale, Natalie Portman and Joe Manganiello. The film is expected to be released in 2013.
