The Hunger Games triumphs at 2012 Teen Choice Awards: brings home 9 awards

The Teen Choice Awards 2012 finished airing and there was a big winner: The Hunger Games! The movie, the cast and the books took home a total of nine awards. Here’s the list:

Choice Movie (Sci-Fi/Fantasy): THE HUNGER GAMES
Choice Movie Actor (Sci-Fi/Fantasy): JOSH HUTCHERSON
Choice Movie Actress (Sci-Fi/Fantasy): JENNIFER LAWRENCE
Choice Book: THE HUNGER GAMES TRILOGY
Choice Movie Liplock: JENNIFER LAWRENCE & JOSH HUTCHERSON
Choice Movie Chemistry: JENNIFER LAWRENCE & AMANDLA STENBERG
Choice Movie Villain: ALEXANDER LUDWIG
Choice Movie Scene Stealer (Male): LIAM HEMSWORTH
Choice Single By A Female Artist: EYES OPEN by Taylor Swift

So, this makes for a total of 9 wins out of the 11 categories in which The Hunger Games was nominated for. That’s pretty amazing, isn’t it? The only two lost categories were Choice Movie Scene Stealer (Female): ELIZABETH BANKS (lost to Twilight’s Ashley Greene) and Choice Male Hottie: LIAM HEMSWORTH (lost to Vampire Diaries’ Ian Somerhalder).

Josh Hutcherson was the only cast member that attended the ceremony. He took the stage to receive his award. Here you can find a few high-quality images:
