The Hunger Games series nominated for a Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award as Favorite Book

Posted on by

The nominations for the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2012 were just released, and The Hunger Games book series made the list of the Favorite Book category! The series is nominated alongside other strong book sagas: Harry Potter, Twilight and Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

While Harry Potter has lit up the screen with its book adaptations over the past few years, The Hunger Games is just getting started. The book series about Katniss Everdeen competing in the fight for her life has taken us on an extremely suspenseful journey that (no offense, Katniss) we just don’t want to end! The book is a serious must-read and if Katniss can fight in The Hunger Games, she will no doubt be huge competition at the KCAs.

FUN FACT: Hunger Games author, Suzanna Collins, used to write for the old school Nick show, Clarissa Explains It All.

Voting opens on February 24; we’ll remind you then so you can star voting! đŸ˜‰
