The Hunger Games holds #3 spot on its sixth weekend, surpasses $600M worldwide

The Hunger Games has taken in $10.814 million on its sixth weekend in theaters, which makes for a total of $372.019 million in the U.S. only. This amount, influenced by the return of the movie to IMAX theaters this weekend, helped The Hunger Games surpass the gross that the final Harry Potter movie had at the same point of his run (38 days from the release), $366,007,900.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 ended with a total of $381,011,219 in the domestic box office, and while it is likely that The Hunger Games will end its run with a greater total, it will be impossible for it to match Deathly Hallows: Part 2‘s worldwide total: $1,328,111,219. The Hunger Games has a worldwide total of $600,519,021.
