Photos: Kauai, Hawaii most probable location for Catching Fire arena scenes

North Carolina reporter Russ Bowen, who in the past has provided accurate information regarding the filming of The Hunger Games, said through his Twitter account that the Catching Fire production will most likely head to the island of Kauai in Hawaii for the last three weeks of shooting to film the arena scenes.

While this is no official word, Bowen has proven to be right several times is the past and, besides, this is not the first time that a Hawaii shooting has been mentioned. Here are pics of the island! What do you think? Doesn’t it look awesome?!
