#IntlHungerGamesWeek: Indispensable Catching Fire scenes – Writing Contest!
As we announced before, this week fans around the globe are celebrating the 1st International Hunger Games Week, seven days to tell the world about our love for this amazing story. So, here comes our first activity: a writing contest!
We want to know which are, for you, the Catching Fire Indispensable scenes! What do you think are the scenes that cannot be missing from the film, either big or small sequences. Tell us the reason you like these scenes, why they can’t be missing from the movie and, maybe, the reason(s) you feel they may be in danger of being cut out.
Which will be the price for the winner? A collection of all three tie-in books released for the first movie: The World of the Hunger Games, The Hunger Games Tribute Guide and The Hunger Games: Official Illustrated Movie Companion.
The opinion pieces should be sent from now until Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 10:00PM ET to the e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org, along side your name and Twitter account (in case you have one). The winning text will be chosen by the staff of HungerTimes and announced here on the site on Friday, September 14, the 4th anniversary of the publication of The Hunger Games book!
The contest is open for fans in the U.S. only. Read the terms and conditions of the contest before entering:
The contest is open for fans living in the United States of America. Fans outside the country can send their writing pieces and those could be published on the site if the HungerTimes staff decides so, but they will not be eligible for the price. The prize is paid for by HungerTimes and is in no way sponsored by Lionsgate, Scholastic or Suzanne Collins. For the prize to be delivered, the winner will have to provide HungerTimes with his full name and address. This data will only be asked for once the winner has been chosen and notified. HungerTimes reserves the right to disqualify any user who abuses in any way the terms and conditions.
So get your pen and paper (or rather start typing on your keyboard). We are eager to read what you all have to say! Good luck!
