HungerTimes is looking for people to join the staff!
It’s been already six months since HungerTimes went live and I can tell you it’s really been an amazing ride. The site received a warmer welcome than I could have ever expected and more readers join us every day. It’s been a lot of work but I truly enjoy it and that’s made everything worth it.
Everything you see here has been written by just one person, me. At the spanish version of the site there’s an amazing team helping me keep the site up to date, but here, in the english version, it’s been only me. Until know I think I’ve been able to keep up with all the news, there were a couple of really crazy months (around the release of the movie) but everything worked out well. Now, due to my offline activities for the upcoming months and other online projects (which I’ll share soon) I figured out it will be harder to keep the site as updated as I’d like, so I decided it’s time to recruit reporters!
I’m looking for a few people to join the HungerTimes staff as news posters and content editors! There are no many requirements; you just have to like writing, have enough free time to post two or three notes a day and, of course, be passionate about The Hunger Games! No blogging or HTML knowledge is required, you’ll see that posting here is pretty simple and I’ll teach you all the basics.
To apply you just have to take a recent or old piece of news, write a simple article about it and e-mail it to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please, if you have the slightest desire to become part of the HungerTimes staff don’t be shy and send me an e-mail. Everyone will be very helpful to the site and it’ll be always fun to take an active part of the Hunger Games fandom.
One more thing: you don’t have to live in the United States to apply, neither do you have to speak English as your native language. If you speak (or rather write) a good english, no matter if you are from Mexico, France of China, you’ll be welcome here!
Thank you all for reading!
