Woody Harrelson attended the ‘Now You See Me’ New York Premiere at AMC Lincoln Square Theater on May 21, 2013 in New York City. He was joined by cast mates mark Ruffalo, Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher and Morgan Freeman. Alan Ritchson, who we’ll see as District 1 tribute Gloss in the upcoming Catching Fire screen adaptation, will also play Raphael in the highly-anticipated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie that hits theaters next summer.

The actor was recently spotted arriving to the film set at SoHo in New York, dressed up in his Ninja Turtle costume. Tracking points can be seen on Ritchson’s face, which are normally used to add CGI effects later in post-production.

The cast of the film also includes Megan Fox and Noel Fisher. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is scheduled for release on June 6, 2014.

We were not expecting this! Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Sam Claflin were present today at a Catching Fire photocall that took place in France at the Cannes Film Festival.

While the assistance of Jennifer was expected, her two co-stars came as a surprise. The event was held to support Lionsgate’s presentation of the second film in the The Hunger Games series to potential international distributors; the studio is seeking to sell distribution rights for Catching Fire and the two-part adaptation of Mockingjay.

Also in attendance were director Francis Lawrence, producers Jon Kilik & Nina Jacobson, and Lionsgate Films Co-Chairmen Patrick Wachsberger & Rob Friedman.

Tonight’s gala at Cannes will also serve as celebration for the Lionsgate/Covergirl Catching Fire beauty partnership announced yesterday. The studio is expected to screen some new footage from the film to distributors, but it is highly unlikely that the material leaks online.

Covergirl to launch Capitol Collection inspired by the ‘Catching Fire’ make-up

Lionsgate and make up brand Covergirl announced this morning a partnership that will bring to life a collection of products inspired by The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. From the press release:

COVERGIRL will launch a first-of-its-kind creative advertising campaign inspired by the film, featuring new products from the brand’s upcoming Capitol Collection from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, to be announced at a later date.

“With The Hunger Games: Catching Fire partnership, we wanted to redefine cosmetics’ relationship to film with a fantasy-meets-reality beauty experience,” said Esi Eggleston Bracey, VP and General Manager, Global P&G Cosmetics. “The film inspired COVERGIRL campaign coming out this fall truly will bring beauty transformation to life in an aspirational, dramatic fashion.
